A leak behind the kitchen cabinets became the ideal breeding ground for mold in this customer home. The moisture added by the leak and the food source drywall paper in a concealed space is all it took. The mold was removed under containment and negative air conditions to prevent cross contamination of the unaffected areas of the home. The affected porous materials were removed, the area thoroughly cleaned and treated with an antimicrobial agent. Upon completion of the mold remediation work an independent testing firm verified the mold was gone and the air quality of the living space would not be compromised. New drywall, insulation and cabinets were installed and the customer is now very happy she has a newly restored kitchen; mold free!
